Holistic good luck gifts from Indalo Art.
The Indalo shape, sometimes called Rainbow Man or Rainbow Warrior, is believed to represent a bridge between the physical and spiritual worlds. There are several 'Rainbow Warrior' symbols around the world, the most prominent being the Indalo of southern Spain, which is very much a good luck talisman.
At Indalo Art, we craft charm stones, lucky charm necklaces and other pebble jewelry in Almeria, south east Spain. This good luck symbol plays a large part in local traditions and, travelling around, you see it everywhere. We draw on the cult, mysticism and legend of the Indalo to create unique artifacts, holistic jewellery and charm stones, as well as paintings - all based on this lucky Indalo Rainbow Warrior symbol and its holistic culture.
Of course, the name Rainbow Warrior has now been immortalised by a ship owned by environmental group Greenpeace and relates back to North American Indian culture (particularly the Hopi, the Cree and the Sioux). But it is no coincidence that Greenpeace uses this name for it's vessels: The Warrior of the Rainbow is a spiritual being that ancient North American legend foretells will return to save the earth from the ravages of environmental destruction in a 'New Age' type of salvation.
At Indalo Art, we us ancient stones forged by nature over millions of years to produce our charmstones. We are based in a region of Europe where, in the Copper Age some 4000 years before Christ, ancient man inscribed paintings of the Indalo Rainbow Warrior on the walls of caves overlooking the plains of the Sierra de la Maria (close to the Sierra Nevada) and from where, having traversed across Africa over centuries of migration, they began their journey up into northern Europe in a megalithic era that eventually resulted in the ancient monuments of northern Europe such as Stonehenge and Avebury.
The use of a charm stone, especially as a goodwill gift, is common and every lucky gift from Indalo Art has that uniqueness and earthy quality that only a natural stone pebble can give. Because nature itself has produced the raw stones over millions of years and each one is then hand-painted and hand-crafted into an INDIVIDUAL charm, every piece is a UNIQUE gift.
